SHIELD AI
NOVA Autonomous Swarm Simulation
Overview
This project focused on developing a real-time simulation of the NOVA quadcopter system, powered by Shield AI’s proprietary Hivemind autonomous software. The simulation demonstrates multiple drones operating collaboratively within a GPS denied indoor environment. The primary objective was to visualize how autonomous agents navigate confined environments, maintain spatial awareness, and avoid collisions with both obstacles and each other during coordinated flight. Built in Unreal Engine, the system operates as a real-time simulation allowing continuous evaluation of multi-agent behavior and environmental interaction. I designed and built the full interior environment, including architectural layout and furniture, to create a realistic operational scenario for indoor navigation and obstacle interaction.
